From the monthly archives: March 2004
Oh, I forgot to mention that I did eventually have dinner with my neighbours on Friday, March 12. I brought a loaf of freshly made homebaked bread. J made a great sauce starting from scratch for the spaghetti. Yummy!
My friendship with the two cousins, J and A, started off when I asked them to help me water my plants… It’s always nice to make new friends. (Hehehe… especially when they invite you over for dinner 
)
Too many things going on. Too much too say. Too little time to write…
These are happy days for me
I’ll post something when I’m ready to write.
Wow, it’s been a while since I had time to come on line to write. I spent 7-11 March at a staff conference in Kuala Lumpur. I was very grateful that my boss had asked if I wanted to participate in it. I enjoyed meeting staff from many parts of the world who are in touch with the lives of all kinds of people.
A side bonus was having lots of free time to spend a much needed extended time with the Lord. I was ministered to all round… excellent teaching and interaction, good food, a very comfortable room all to myself (wah), nice gym (I used it every day). My Good Shepherd knows indeed what I need and when I need it.
Had a good time with my Bible study group yesterday. We discussed Matthew 6:25-34… Your Father feeds them… clothes them… Your Father knows you need them… simple truths – yet I keep missing the mark all too often.
Well, anyway, it’s amazing how God’s answers can come in an instant when you least expect it — quietly, without effort… and I am left wide-eyed, dumb-struck, mouth-gaping. God is indeed a “too-good-to-be-true God”.
But more of that at another time.
Looks like I’m not the only one with the B * * Y lifestyle! Hahahha… my neighbour called to say that she’s been held back at work. Dinner has been postponed to… hmmm… here we go again…
