We sat side-by-side on the two-seater sofa listening to his music again. He put his arm around me and let me rest on his arm. I can’t remember the last time he did that

Some recurring thoughts and Scripture that the Lord keeps bringing to mind over the past few months…
Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
Thot: To die to self, even to the promises that I think the Lord gave… if only to gain Christ.
John 12:24 I tell you the truth, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.
Thot: Live/Die in such a way that others might find life.

Thot: I was inspired by this man and took what he wrote as my own in 1988 when I left my job to go into full-time Christian service. This statement continues to inspire and motivate me.

You don’t have to catch alot of fish to enjoy fishing. Just being out and enjoying God’s creation with friends, forgetting about deadlines and work… recreating, re-creating is good enough for me. I thank God for the time. My soul has been refreshed.
